Jungle Jim's

Last weekend Wyatt and I went to Jungle Jim's for one of my friends little boys second birthday. It was a lot of fun. He got a wristband so he could ride on all the rides. He went on the carousel and the tea cup ride twice! He played in the play area and went on a rocket and train. For as little as he is, he had a lot of fun and was such a good boy the whole time. He even had a little bit of a cupcake. I think his favorite part was playing with a balloon, he was getting the biggest kick out of it!!

Updates

We have been pretty busy lately. As I said in a previous post, Wyatt has become mobile. He is crawling all over the place. He stands up and walks around and around the table, holding on of course. He is standing without holding, but has not taken any steps. It is funny, he will stand there with his arms out and then real slowly sit down. He also climbs up the stairs, which totally scares me, but it is good he has learned. I swear he is not going to be scared of anything.

About a week and a half ago, he got his first cold. He had a nasty cough and runny nose. I took him to the doc, but since it was just a virus we just had to wait it out. He was getting back to his normal self, when all of the sudden the other night, he was sick again. So hot with a fever and just miserable. I took him back to the doctor and he had ear infections in both ears! I felt so bad for my little guy. I am happy to say though, that he is feeling better and we only have a few more days of the antibiotics.

Brandon and I are both doing well also. I did catch Wyatt's cold, but thankfully it only lasted a day or two. I have been trying to get my butt in shape, but I am having a hard time staying motivated. I lost 15 pounds, gained back 4 over the holidays and can't seem to get back into the swing of things. I really want to be in better shape to keep up with my little guy when he starts walking and playing. I have a feeling he is going to be non-stop!! I can't wait for warmer weather, then I can walk and hike and it will be a lot of fun with Wyatt camping this year.

Family Pics 2009

In October, my family decided to get family pics. We hadn't had any done since I was 18!! We used the same photographer that did Ash's wedding. She took us to Wheeler Farm and I think they turned out great! We gave them to Grandparents on both sides for Christmas presents.

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas this year! Even though Wyatt didn't really know what was going on, it was still fun watching him with all his new toys. He got a few toys and some new clothes. We spent Christmas Eve at Brandon's grandparents house and Christmas Day at my parents and my aunt Bobbi's. This year was an exciting year for us and we are excited to see what next year brings. I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year.

December Fun

December has been a busy month for us so far, not only getting ready for Christmas, but our little guy has become mobile! He is crawling all over the place, getting into everything and he has started pulling himself up on things and standing up. He does it in his crib and thinks it's hilarious!! Although, not so funny when he gets up on something and forgets that he needs to hold on, he has fallen a countless number of times, but he gets back up and does it again (after Mommy gives him some loves). Even though it makes me nervous because of all the falling, I love watching him move and explore everything. When we got the first snow, we bundled him up in his new coat, hat and gloves and took him out. He just stared at all of the snow and was looking up at the snow coming down, didn't really know what to make of it. Brandon and I are so excited for Christmas, even though he doesn't really get it yet, we are excited to see what he does.

The Making of our Christmas Card

This year I wanted to send out Christmas cards and, of course, put a pic of my little man on them. I found the cutest Christmas jammies with a hat and took some pics. I do my cards and such on Walmart.com and then just pick them up in the store. It is so much cheaper! There were so many cute ones of him, it was hard to choose the one for the card.
