We have had a run of bad luck this past few weeks with sickness in our house. It started with me, (I don't know where I got it!) I got a cold, missed a day of work and got better. I was worried Wyatt was going to get it but he just got a little cough and runny nose, nothing to serious. But then he seemed to get worse and worse and his cough sounded like crap! We took him to the doctor on a Tuesday, he was pretty happy at the docs office and the doc didn't find anything wrong. I was just super worried about the cough. The doc said that the cough was actually good, keeping the crap out of his lungs. Two days later he had a really bad night, he wasn't sleeping, he kept coughing and was just not himself. So that morning we took him back to the doc, he had ear infections. I was still pretty worried about the cough but the doctor assured me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with his lungs, he even checked his oxygen levels to make me feel better. Once Wyatt got on the antibiotics he perked right up and was back to himself. I have to admit though, I loved the snuggle time when he was sick. All he wanted was him mommy!
While all this was going on, I kept getting a pretty bad stomach ache, which was nothing new, I had been having this stomach ache for quite a few months, it just seemed to be getting worse. Early one Sunday morning it was really bad, nothing would help it...tums, pepto, etc. I knew it had to be something else. I couldn't take it anymore, I thought I was going to die! Brandon took me to the ER and it turns out I have gall stones! Normally they would take the gall bladder out then and there, but the doctor said mine was not terribly inflamed but I would need to get it out eventually. It has still been bugging me so I am making an appointment with an internal doctor to get a referral to a surgeon.
THEN...Brandon got a cold which we thought was just a cold, but he just would not get better. He had a really bad cough and was just not feeling good. One Thursday morning he woke up and was having a really hard time breathing. He called his doc and got in right away. They did x-rays and found that he had pneumonia!! I could not believe it! They said that if he had waited til that night he would have had to stay in the hospital. They gave him a round of antibiotics in the hospital and then a prescription.
We are all feeling much better now and are thankful for the doctors, but if I don't see a doc again for a while, I will be very happy!
Sorry that this post is not that exciting, it is more for me and my memory. Thanks for reading if you did. :)

Wow, that sounds like a crazy week, I am so sorry! There is nothing worse than everyone sick at the same time. Brandon is pretty tough, pneumonia (sp?), and barely complaining, I am proud! Rob and Kaira had their gall bladders out and they both said it was the worst pain they've ever felt. Hopefully you'll get it out soon and be back to normal. Good luck!
Holy Crap! I am so sorry! I can't believe you have to have your Gal Bladder out! That just sucks! Sounds like you guys are needing some better luck like we are! We have been having the bad luck at our house to but not surgery bad! I am so sorry about that! Let me know if you need anything!!
Thank you guys for the nice comments. I really appreciate it!! :)
I hope everything goes well. I cant imagine having to have surgery and take care of a little one.
